Our Blessings

Frequently things in life are exciting in the beginning and then they lose their excitement over time. Most people are more in love on the first date than they are 15 years into marriage, or more enthusiastic about a job in the first week than three years into that job.

Blessings are the wages of your spiritual work.

Our blessings remain undiminished when shared with others, similar to one candle lighting another, defying the law of give and take.

Appreciation is the highest form of receiving. Say “thank you” into the thin air and notice any positive feelings of gratitude. Can you take them in?

Your Good Fortune

I love when people send me their homemade daily tune ups. I invite you to send me yours. Here’s a helpful one from a student, reprinted with his permission:

“When you get things in your life, and you continue to get good things, (because you are doing what the Light wants you to do,) it's hard for people to be positive about your good fortune.

Today, share how to be positive and follow the Light so others can receive the good fortune you receive.”
 

Shhhh

When you’re expecting something wonderful to happen, before it does, only share it with people who want the best for you. Then be quiet and wait for it to happen. Seal the energy. After it happens you can celebrate with the world. What wonderful things are you expecting? (Shhhh)

Victorious

Part of Satan’s trick is to make us feel like we failed. He diminishes our perception of the miracles that happen in our life. He makes us unclear and uncertain about how much we actually receive from all our work; he devalues our teachers. We receive so much. Defeat the voice of doubt in your head and defeat Satan. It’s an ongoing battle, but we can be victorious.
